Executive Director Perri Cooper Speaks at ACF Waters Conference

Flint River Soil and Water Conservation District attended the ACF Waters Conference April 28-20 in Albany, Georgia. It was an inspiring few days learning about initiatives that benefit communities, ecologies, and economies across the entire ACF basin and connecting with our partners across the watershed. During the pre-conference field trip, Executive Director Perri Cooper shared with attendees the Skywater Partnership's ongoing collaborative work at the Radium Springs garden. This stakeholder group aims to maintain flow at Radium Springs by promoting and adopting voluntary conservation initiatives in the surrounding area.
