Flint River Sponsors GA Chapter oof the SWCD’s Annual Meeting

The Flint River Soil and Water Conservation District was thrilled to sponsor the annual meeting of the Georgia Chapter of the Soil and Water Conservation Society in Tifton, Georgia March 26-27 in partnership with ADM/ Golden Peanut.  

"It was great to see old friends and new faces at the annual meeting,"  says Perri Cooper, Executive Director of the Flint River Soil and Water Conservation District. "The diversity of representatives in the room-- from farmers, ranchers, industry professionals, researchers, government, RiverKeepers and everything in between—was truly a shining light on "Why Conservation Matters" to all Georgians."
