Where are you originally from?

Bainbridge, Georgia

What impact to you hope to make as a part of Flint River Fresh and the District team?

I hope to use my knowledge and experiences to benefit the District to make a positive impact regarding conservation.

What inspires you to work in conservation?

I am currently studying Agriscience and Environmental Systems at UGA Tifton and conservation is an important component. I am inspired to work in conservation to better understand this area and to help preserve our lands and natural resources and to also help others understand this importance as well.

If you were a common Georgia crop, what would it be?

I would choose cotton because I have always found it fascinating and it is used for so many various products that consumers don’t generally think about.

What could we find you doing on a typical Saturday afternoon?

I typically spend my Saturday afternoons with my family outdoors or traveling with my fiancé.

Anything else exciting that you’d like our supporters to know?

Just a little background about myself: I am a senior at the University of Georgia College of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences Tifton campus studying Agriscience and Environmental Systems. I plan to pursue a Masters in Agricultural and Environmental Education. It is my passion to learn and to teach others about the many aspects of agriculture!
